• I hope you all enjoyed author Brenda Woods's visit on May 9!  Thanks for being such a great audience, and for purchasing her wonderful books! 
• The SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR is May 15-19! We will be open daily from 7:20am-2:40pm, and on Thur. evening from 6-8pm during our Spring Arts Festival. Buy some books and READ ALL SUMMER!
• The Compton Library has received a grant from the American Library Assoc. for a WE THE PEOPLE BOOKSHELF--15 brand new books about becoming an American. Click here for a list of books and to find out more about the grant, then come to the library and check it out...
• If you have LOST your library card, you may purchase a new one for $1.00. New cards are made each Thursday.
• If you are a NEW STUDENT, please pick up your card in the library!
• Have you turned in your INTERNET ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY yet? If not, get a form in the library, have it signed, and return it to Mrs. Brown ASAP.
